DWTS Recap

Forget American Idol...Dancing With the Stars is back with a vengance! It's only week 2 and people are getting scores of 27/30! This is going to be a great season. Because I am such a professional, here is my take on the stars:

Adam Corolla- Poor Julianne. She won 2 seasons in a row and I think her streak is over. Although Adam does try, he just isn't DWTS material. He is funny, though.

Cristian de la Fuente- WOAH! Men in uniform normally don't get to me, but when he tried on that Navy uniform last night, pheeeww! He is a good contender for the title. Plus, he has Cheryl for a partner...always a plus.

Shannon Elizabeth- I gotta hand it to her. She is trying. From last night's clip, I'd say this girl suffers from low self esteem...what do you think? She is a tall thing, too. She's good, but not great.

Steve Guttenburg- Although he is on the borderline of annoying, he is kind of sweet. You can tell he puts a lot of effort into his work. Something I like to see from the older contestants. He needs to stop saying "Wow", too. I like his partner, Anna. She seems like a nice girl.

Mario- He's got one negative thing going against him, in my book...KARINA SMIRNOFF! UGGHH! This partner got on my nerves way back in the season with Mario Lopez. This Mario is good, though. We'll have to wait and see.

Mariska Jaret Winokur- Bless her heart. Last night's therapy session with Tony (I like him!) was embarrassing. I felt like I was watching a car accident happen. She really is trying, and I can't imagine being on that show with all of those gorgeous, skinny women and feeling like she does. I almost feel like voting for her out of pity:(

Penn Jillette-One word: Gross. He is way too tall and he has an attitude problem, I think. He can't keep his mouth shut when the judges give him their opinions. It is obvious that someone can't take criticism. Yikes. I'm hoping he's the male that leaves tonight.

Marlee Matlin- Roy wants her to win just because she's deaf. He always roots for the underdog. I will admit that she is talented to be able to dance like that! And, she looks GREAT for having four kids!

Jason Taylor- Again, he has one of the partners that drives me and Roy crazy--Edyta! This girl dresses SO provacative. The clothes she wears in rehearsal and for the performances are ridiculous. Where does a person even buy those shirts she wears? They are always the same style...backless with a drapey front. Again, I think we have another girl with low self esteem on our hands. Tragic.

Pricilla Presley- Wow! She really does a good job. She just needs to knock off the diva personality and smile a sincere smile. Oh, and she needs to NEVER do that crawl thing she did last night again. Ever! That was on the verge of creepy.

Monica Seles- POOR THING! It is so obvious that she is so uncomfortable and she makes me uncomfortable just watching her! Oh, wow. I feel so bad for her because when she dances, it's extremely awkward. She just needs to relax and have fun. She does has a good partner in Jonathan, though. He seems like a nice, encouraging guy. Maybe it's because he's married to Anna? I think Monica will be leaving us tonight. It's for her own good.

KRISTI YAMAGUCHI- I can't get enough of this girl! First off, she seems like such a sweet girl. The kind of fellow mom that you'd have over for a play date and go on walks with your jogger strollers. I love her precision and her calm, sweet spirit. She seems so shy but when she gets on that floor, the Olympian medalist we know and love comes out! Fingers crossed that she wins. I think she will!

Okay, and one more, just because I am severely annoyed:

Samantha Harris. Come on, ABC. PLEASE find another co-host for the next season. This girl is overkill! To refrain from being too negative, I'll just leave it at that. Is anyone with me, though, besides Jennifer?
