What a day! My sweet sisters, Dolly and Denise, have been secretly (or maybe not so secretly!!!) planning a surprise lunch for me and some of my friends to honor little Roy Austin. I had told them absolutely NO shower for this baby, but they wanted to do something, so they organized a nice lunch. Last night they got to our house and Dolly was acting so silly about going to lunch at "this nice restaurant near uptown" that "she'd heard a lot about". Well, that gave the whole thing away. Then she gave the name of the restaurant (while laughing, by the way) and it is a place that Hannah loves, so I knew something was up. They had mentioned going to lunch with some friends a few weeks back but then said they had to cancel it due to scheduling conflicts, so I didn't think it was going to happen. I thought we would spend the morning at the mall and then go get some lunch somewhere!We had a delicious lunch and it was a good time to catch up with all the girls and the baby girls! Roy Austin received some cute stuff and Caroline racked up on some candy (thanks, Suzanne) and an adorable shirt and jacket (thanks, Ashleigh!!). I felt very special today and it was a nice "surprise"! So thank you, Denise and Dolly, for planning such a great day for me and the baby. Thanks, Mom, for coming down just for the event, and thanks to all of the girls for coming!!

No, these two beauties are not sisters, but mother and daughter--Glenda and Hannah!
After lunch, we went to SouthPark for a quick little excursion. Harrison and Caroline loved the Halloween disply at Frontgate! And by the way, BIG mistake taking 2 two-year-olds to the mall at naptime with no strollers!!
But when we got into the car to head home, Caroline was out within the first few minutes. Thank you, Lord.

You're sweet, Donna. You and Suzy are on top of the blogs today! In, the group picture, Caroline's expression at Margaux touching her Cinderella pumpkin is priceless. Then HJ (little Dan Reber, by the way!) is just laughing away at those girls as long as he has his sucker!
Love the photos! It was such a fun time to see you and your family. I just am waiting for Roy Austin to come into the picture. Just think in about a month you are going to have two kids and one will be a boy! Fun and Scary!
