First of all, I think she's really starting to realize that "RoyBoy" is a real baby. We've been looking at baby clothes in stores lately and I've been stocking up on diapers and wipes. She'll be in the cart--the back of the cart, of course, because she has now decided that she is much too old to sit in the front like a baby-- and she'll say (in her high-pitched girl squeal) "Oh, that's so cuuuuute!" . A lady at Roy's office made a beautiful baby blanket for Roy Austin and when we opened it on Wednesday, Caroline knew it was for him and stated that it was cute. I'm hoping her enthusiasm for his clothes, diapers and wipes stays when he arrives at our home to STAY.
Okay, so this morning I went into her bedroom to get her out of her crib and she was sitting on her knees with her back toward me. She had her shirt lifted and she was patting her belly and rubbing it and talking to herself. I snuck in the room and just listened. She was saying "Oh, RoyBoy...You're so cute!" She was talking to her belly and pretending it was him! It put a big smile on my face and on my heart. I'm truly hoping and praying that she'll be my little helper with her brother. I think we're off to a good start!
Caroline's also doing so well with her potty-training. It's been easier than I thought it would be. We even ventured out to run errands yesterday in a pair of panties! I know, I'm daring! The only pain about the whole thing is taking her into nasty, dirty public bathrooms like WAL-MART!! YUCK. It has to be done, though, and believe me I pile the liners on the seat.
This morning we're off to her preschool for her orientation! I keep telling her we're going to school today and she gets very excited. Here's to hoping her love for going to school stays for another 20 years or so.
There really isn't anything else to report about our life. It's been a relatively quiet, boring week. Hope this post humors you, Hannah:) I'll leave you with a picture of Caroline (minus her shirt, which I need to go iron right now) eating her breakfast while she watches her morning TV show. Happy Friday!!!

Too bad Wal-mart in NC didn't have Dot as their janitor. No need to pad the seats, it builds the kids immune system is what I say! School how fun is that? I am just warning you now, she is very advanced so the first day of school, make sure you pull the teacher aside and ask for additional assignments & tasks & make sure you stress how advanced our lil' LINEY is!
Hey, Ashleigh....I ended up going to the Library for lunch with Roy on Wednesday. Next week, we will eat in the main dining room!
Kim, you are CRAZY! "Liney" is still chanting "Girls, girls, girls, girls". In fact, if you ask her what Kim says, she'll say that.
Donna,
Am just now logging on to the blogspot, why are you calling me crazy and who is this person with the Weird names with her postings?
I miss ole Liney-Lou!
lol, kim, lol!
That is sweet Donna. I am happy for you.
