Merry Christmas 2012!

Our Christmas began in Virginia with the annual Adult Only Dinner.  My parents started this tradition a few years ago because our Christmas dinners got a little chaotic with all the kids running around.  So, a dinner was started for adults only and children that were old enough to sit down and be quiet.  You have to dress up for this dinner, too:)  This was Harry's first year.  He's 8, which is the starting age of being allowed to attend, and let's just say he loved the food part of the party...

The Logan Family, minus Margaux and Jane.
Something tells me this conversation involved guns:
I kept seeing Harry sneak up to the appetizer table.  He loved the sausage balls.
Christmas Eve, we all met at my parents house for the Reber Christmas.  This is the annual grandchild shot.  This year, we included ages:

Grandaddy always tells the kids that before they got there, he thinks he heard Santa down in the basement...
I saw "LeRoy" in the kitchen talking while the grandchild picture was being taken.  I think I heard "high capacity magazines" talk being thrown around.

 Love these two!
We were going to have light snacks and leftovers, as Daddy called it.
 Yummy leftovers, huh????
 The boy table:
 Charlotte and her "Mimi":

The best reaction of the night was this sweet girl getting a Ninento DS.  Her reaction was so sweet and priceless!
Charlotte loved pulling Eleanore in the baby doll wagon:
The next morning, our kids woke up to see what Santa had left them.  RoyBoy was so tired, we had to wake him up around 8:30!

Our kids drew names for each other, and Roy Austin had to get Charlotte this Mater ornament.  She has two buck teeth that he has nicknamed her "mater teeth".
He got it!!  He wanted this Lego train SO badly!  He was very happy.  It has 690+ pieces:)
After our present opening, Grandaddy made his famous pancakes.  Yum!
Someone else was fascinated with her Leapad.  She still is.
After a while, we tried out a new bike...
 ...and played a little basketball.
Christmas was wonderful and I can't believe the actual day has come and gone! Slow down, time!!!

Great Christmas recap! I'm LOL at the pic or RA at the end. Sweet! I wish we had more time so that M and RA could shoot some hoops together. NY...NY.

I can't believe Christmas is all over. It went by so fast. Isn't that what happens when you get old? Loved having you guys home again.
