Friday night our family went to a Charlotte Knights baseball game. Roy was given some front row seats from a friend, so we decided to see what all the fuss was about. The weather was perfect and we ended up having a great time and decided that we'll have to go back soon! When we walked into the stadium and Roy Austin saw the field, he just stopped and stared. He couldn't believe it! And then when we went to our seats and he saw how close he was to the team, he was in awe:

This little girl was happy, too! Especially since her Daddy bought her and her brother a huge bag of cotton candy and a coke---EACH! They were wild.
We sat right above the opposing team's dugout and one of those cokes fell on top of the roof of the dugout and rolled right over the edge. She thought she was going to get in so much trouble. I love my rule-follower! Here she is being comforted and assured she wouldn't get in trouble:
But she was soon much better when Daddy caught the ball thrown by the team as they came in from the outfield. Caroline and Roy Austin had sheer joy on their faces! They were so proud of Roy and they think that baseball is the coolest thing:
