Pretty in Pink!

Call me crazy, but I have never put polish on Caroline's finger or toe nails. I don't know what I've been waiting for. I guess I just liked the innocence of plain fingers and toes. Since she's been in TK this year, I've taken her out a few times just to have a special Mommy day and today was one of those days. We dropped Roy Austin off at preschool and then headed to get a little girl pedicure!

She said she wanted her toes to be a pale pink. She settled for "Aphrodite's Pink Nightie". Yikes!

Soaking her "piggies" (what she calls her toes):

It's funny how when I cut her toenails, she squirms and cries. But when a stranger does it, she doesn't even flinch.

When the lady brought the paint out, Caroline leaned forward to watch. I could tell she was in awe! You can't really see the color, but believe me, her piggies are very pretty! She keeps telling me, "Mommy, I look really old with my toenails painted!"

She also asked me if we could go back one day:) Definitely!

So cute! I bet she LOVED it and felt so grown up. I'm glad you did that with her and you'll probably be doing it all the time now. :) Now what color did mommy pick?

That is one of my favorite things to do with my girls! Lindsay even enjoyed a pedicure last summer with her cousins and aunt! Love it!
Those gold sandals are precious! I wish my little girls were still wearing Saltwater sandals! :(
