A+ For Creativity!
As we were leaving the neighborhood for school this morning, we saw this:
Seven signs that brought a smile to my face. Here's what they said: #1: Hey, Beautiful! #2: Yes, you, Emily. #3: P #4: R #5: O #6: M? #7: a box with "yes" and another box with "yes" to be checked:) Wasn't that a cute way for Emily to be asked to the prom? I hope she says yes, and I hope she lets the neighborhood know her decision:)

Somebody really worked hard on that invitation! I hope Emily says yes, too.
I hope she says yes! Cute!
Hey! We made it to the beach and I got on the Internet with no problem this time. Just catching up on emails. We were talking to some teenagers in line for the boat to Disney and the girl was telling me how she was asked to prom by her date. Evidently being creative in the way you ask your date is a big thing now. She showed me pictures of hundreds of cups in a fence that spelled out her name with Prom? Anyhow, funny you should blog about this because I was just talking to her last night.
Stay tuned for a long blog post. I'm going to try and blog tomorrow.
BTW, you would have been a great person to be with while talking to those teenagers last night. I started the conversation with, "hey, have you kids been to Downtown Disney?" and then instantly it started the conversation. We would have had fun. Leland just rolled his eyes and laughed. They were on the Sr. Trip and one of the girls told me she was going to Liberty and was SO EXCITED to find out I graduated from there. She was SUPER excited!
How sweet!!! I am going to have to remember this idea for my boys. Preston has his first prom this year but has already asked the girl.
I hope Emily says yes too!! Pleas DO update us if you find out!!
What a sweet way to be invited to Prom. I love the song on your playlist in honor of Caroline. My Mom always played me the Neil Diamond version growing up...one of my cherished memories in my heart of how she always made me feel loved and I know you do the same for your Sweet Caroline :)
I tell you what-prom invites these days are getting to be like wedding proposals. They do it UP. If I was a boy, I'd be feeling some serious pressure!
