This is a common way of finding him, all sprawled out and laying on "Pup". Pup is his favorite thing and he loves to love on and hug him. Of course I ran to get my camera because he looked so precious laying there. He was so tired that the flash from my camera didn't even startle him:

It was around 10:15 and I was wondering where Roy was. Every night after Caroline's devotions and prayers, he lays down and spends some quality Daddy time with her. We had finished devotions around 9 and as I watched TV alone downstairs, I didn't hear any noise upstairs. When I went in to check on Caroline, this is what I found:
Yes, Caroline was still awake (covering her eyes with a smile on her face) and Roy was fast asleep. He was out of it, too, but this Roy was startled by the flash when it went off. He sat right up and was ready to go!
During Caroline's devotions last night, we experienced a laugh jar moment. I finished reading her the Bible story we were on and then shut the book. She quickly grabbed it, reopened it to the story and said, "Look, look!! He's eating poop!" Roy and I looked at the page and then we both started laughing hysterically, which made Caroline laugh even more. So there we were, all three of us, sitting on her bed laughing and shaking as we looked at this poor boy in the Bible eating his poop:

Caroline is soooo funny and cute and Roy Boy is adorable too. I use to get so tired and would think I might not make it through to the next day and I would go in and check on the children before I would go to bed and melt. Now I enjoy going in and checking on my grandchildren...What was Roy read "ready to do"? Just wondering!!!

At first, I thought RA2 was wearing some kind of muscle man costume the way his silky blanket was laying on his chest. He's such a sweet little guy. With all the energy he has during the day, no wonder he's knocked out on his pup during the night.

First of all, those pictures of little Roy are adorable. Something about sleeping children makes your heart melt.
Caroline's comment made me laugh out loud as I read it. She's right, he does look like he's eating poop....and he better watch out because he's about to expose himself, too.
I remember when Dayna was about Caroline's age and I was reading her a story about a frog. This particular frog was wearing a black tuxedo jacket with tails, and of course he was standing up with his legs apart and bent at the knees....like a frog. His tails were showing between his legs, and Dayna told me that he was going poop. The things children think of!!!

Roy falling asleep in Carolines bed is funny and that Caroline was sill awake is even funnier. I have done that several times after tucking Adam in for the night.
The boy eating his poop is a classic! Glad you have that laugh jar because you will definately remember that one. he definately looks like he is eating poop. SICK.

I too thought Roy Boy was wearing a super hero costume to bed. HA! That's hilarious that Caroline thought he was eating poop!!
The Bible story was the teaching that Jesus told about how God will always take care of you. We can look to the birds and flowers to see that He does, etc. The boy is eating a piece of bread--probably rye bread because of the color. Yes, Mom, he does need to be careful. Did they wear underwear in the Bible times?!!

This is hysterical. Jason and I laughed and my kids couldn't help but wonder why so I showed them too - they thought it was funny but even more funny that Jason and I liked it (mommy and daddy laughing at poop - how awesome!)!

I find my husband asleep in Lindsay's bed all the time too!
Whwn Anna was little I would lay down with her until she went to sleep for her nap (Shae and Lindsay were both in school so time was precious and she HAD to be asleep by a certain time to get up in time to pick up the sisters).
I would wake up an hour later and be soooo mad at myself for falling asleep during my "free" time!!
That laugh jar comment made me giggle. I recognize that picture from the Bible we read with the girls. Neither of our big girls have realized he's eating poop! I can't lay down with the girls at night or I'd fall asleep too!
Yummm...could eat that RA2 up he's so cute! I was like Dolly and thought he had some metallic pj's on until I realized it was a blanket.
We have that Bible or a book by the same author because those "characters" are the same. I'm going to have to see if I can find the poop eating, Jesus loving little boy.
