My Finds....So Far.

Yesterday afternoon was the wonderful Divine Consign that comes to Charlotte two times a year. I went looking only for Roy Austin, but couldn't leave without finding some deals for Caroline. I have to say that RoyBoy hit the jackpot. And we might want to stop calling him Roy Austin, and instead just start calling him Ralph.

Check out Mr. Lauren's new summer shirts! I paid $6 for most of them and they are in almost new condition. And I kind of know the girl who sold them (the sister-in-law of Jessica). RoyBoy--I mean Ralph--will be stylin' and profilin' this summer.
And check out these cool swimming trunks! Watch out Myrtle Beach!

I had to do it. I had to buy him at least one smock for church. It was too cute and too good of a deal to pass by, and Roy said it was "kinda cute":
Like I said, Caroline did not need one more smocked dress, appliqued set or play dress. But these were too good of deals, too. The dress on the right was only $8! I didn't get any matchy-matchies this time, but Roy Austin's green and blue striped shortall above will look great with it!!
Denise, here is Jane's little prize. Hope you like it. It's perfect for any little girl who's family is obsessed with Disney:

I bought a few shorts for Roy Austin too, and I wanted to buy a few jonjons but they were a little pricey. But tomorrow starts the half price sale, so I'm going back! There's no stopping me now!

Great finds. Is that a Lilly dress? You always get some really cute things! I am participating in my first sale this weekend. I am not selling a lot--it can be quite overwhelming. I thought I would start off small and see how it goes.

Cute stuff Donna. I love the name Ralph by the way. I think it's cute when a little boy named Ralph is little to call him "Ralphy" I'm trying to get Amy to name her next boy that.

Anyhow, love the shirts and the little outfits for Caroline. Your kids are always dressed so nice. Yeah for consignment shopping!

Good deals. The swimming trunks are my favorite. He'll look adorable strolling up and down the beach.

I love all the Ralph Lauren stuff...things I would never buy those shirts at full price but they're so cute on little boys. I must say that you have obviously worked on Roy...Don would not allow Max outside the house in jonjons. But that's okay, he's still "smooth like butta!" :)

Cute shirts! That little boy is gonna be stylin'! I love RL stuff because it doesn't really go out of style. And, it can wash over and over. All of my boys RL stuff is hand me downs from a friend. They've made it through 4 boys! And still look good.

Okay, I'm on a mission. I want to consign. Where have I been? Karen...where do you go?

Angela! Start here:

Search the Georgia sales. This site originated from ATL, if I remember correctly, and it has grown. There are tons of sales in the metro area right now and in the coming weeks. I am selling a few things in the St. James UMC sale this weekend. It is a small one, and it is close to us. I really like that the proceeds go to the church's children's programs. Our church (Peachtree Pres) has a sale that benefits the children's hospital. It was last month. But these church sales are small compared to some of the mega consignment sales around here--there is one at the Cobb fairgrounds going on now, and another one up in Gwinnett. Those are CRAZY HUGE. It was kind of fun putting stuff together yesterday, and I didn't even really have a lot or even get things out of storage. At the last minute, I was looking around our place, thinking, "What else can I sell?" LOL! The lady at drop-off last night said I could have priced my stuff higher. Oh well ... live and learn. Sorry this has turned into a book!
