I received an email this morning from a sweet friend that deserves urgent prayer from anyone! First of all, a little over two years ago, one of my friends, Elaine, had a little boy who had a rare condition where an internal hemangioma was blocking his airway, making it hard to breath. He went through intense treatments and surgeries and today is 100% better, but the process to get there was not easy. Like I said, it's very rare for this to happen.
Well, my friend Laura had sweet John Robert in early December. He came down with the infant form of bronchitis (I think) a few weeks back and Laura just didn't feel right with the diagnosis. Elaine encouraged her to go see the EENT just to make sure an outer hemangioma John Robert has on his chest wasn't blocking his airway. Sure enough, it is. It is currently blocking 25% of his trachea. This little guy is scheduled for an MRI and bronchoscopy in a little over a week and the doctors have told Laura that the road ahead may be a little long and rough at times. I just cannot believe that this is happening. To have 2 friends go through the same exact rare situation is puzzling.
Please keep little John Robert in your prayers. Pray that the doctors will have the wisdom to make the right decisions concerning him. Pray for his parents, Laura and Ron, too. I cannot imagine seeing any of my children go through this, but especially a tiny infant.

SO sad! I will pray for them too.
Everywhere I turn there are hurting people. Overwhelming at times. Thankfully we have a GOD to turn too. I don't see how people who don't have a relationship with God, go through life with all its ups and downs. Who do they turn to for peace and comfort?
We will be praying! Bless their hearts! Does her church do a dinner drop off? If not, maybe we can find people for her to drop off dinner everynight! It doesn't take away the hurt/pain it just takes something off their minds.
Oh my word!! My heart breaks for your friend and her little man. I honestly can't imagine how she is feeling....I would be a wreck! Thankfully, we serve a God who is an amazing comforter during these times...and totally in control. I'll be praying for their family. Keep us posted Donna!
Thanks so much for letting us know. I will definitely be praying for this family. Please keep us updated.
