Last night Roy, Caroline and I watched the movie, Madeline, together. In the movie, these two bad guys scheme to kidnap the Spanish Ambassador's son, Pepito. They take him to a circus, dress like clowns, and entice him away from the circus into a waiting van. (it's not that scary. I promise). Well, as we were watching, Caroline kept saying "bad, McDonald. He's a bad man." She kept calling one of the bad guys, "McDonald". I just figured the guy's name was Donald and I had somehow missed that detail in the storyline. So when the movie was finished, she said "that was a very bad McDonald. I don't like him.". I thought for a second and laughed so hard!!
Last week, we met some friends at McDonald's for lunch and play time. In the play yard, there is a big statue of sweet Ronald McDonald. She figured all clowns were named "McDonald".
Actually, now that I think of it, Ronald McDonald is a little creepy. All clowns are.

That is funny! One for the laugh jar! I don't know why people think clowns are scary. I don't think they are. I like them.
That's funny! Ronald always scared me a little as a kid too. It think there is a picture of us with him as little girls and I'm crying.
Since when do you go to McDonald's? I thought you always went to Chick-fil-a?
Chick-fil-a (near me) is closed for a MONTH!!! They're remodeling, so the next closest restaurant was McD's. Caroline was in awe. I don't think she knew places like that existed.
I was wondering the same thing. I thought you said C would NEVER have Micky D's.

I felt like I'd been punched in the stomach when I saw that CFA at Stonecrest was closed for a month. I nearly cried. Who else close by has an indoor play area? And Ice Dream? We're going to the circus in 2 weeks, and I'm already afraid of how the whole clown thing is going to go. Uh oh.
Okay, that is funny, but she's really smart! I mean, to put that together.
I totally think clowns are freaky. Do you remember the show Alf? Gave me nightmares. I guess he wasn't a clown. Anything in a costume gave me the creeps for a long time.
