Today is my sister, Dawn's, birthday! She's the Pearl Harbor baby in our family and my parents used to tease her that they almost named her "Pearl"!
Growing up, Dawn was always the "cool" one of our family. She was the first one to get high-top tennis shoes, she was the first to wear a silver hairbow, she always had her collar up with a gold chain coming out of it, she carried a HUGE mint green pleather snakeskin purse, she had Eva-Joya clothes (remember that brand?!). She was just cool! Not only was she cool--and still is--, but she has always shown me that she loves and cares for me.....well, except that time she pinched my bottom with a pair of tongs while we were doing the dinner dishes, leaving behind a gigantic, sore bruise:) No, seriously, I have so many happy childhood memories of Dawn planning fashion shows for Dolly and me, singing with us as we did dishes, playing with me, always including me. She was the older, caring sister and she still is. Dawn is a wonderful sister, a fun Auntie (who can always get a baby to go to sleep!!), and a hard worker. She gives everything she does 100% and I am so proud to call her my big sister!

This is BIRTHDAY month for the Rebes. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TD. We sure love you, you little booger, you. I love how I can go months without seeing you and when I finally do...our humor always picks up where it left off. I love joking and laughing with you and hope your birthday is as special as you!
