What a "Beauty"!

Roy and I are "triangle face pumpkin people". Our Halloween pumpkin has been the traditional triangle eyes, nose and crooked smile for the past seven Halloweens. Well, this year Caroline wanted a Disney Princess pumpkin. Yesterday she and I searched all over Hobby Lobby, Target and 2 Michaels stores until we found it---the Disney Princess Pumpkin Kit! Caroline picked Sleeping Beauty to grace our front porch this year. The pattern looked pretty easy, but Roy and I agreed tonight that we like the triangle faces for a reason.

Caroline and Daddy hard at work.

Concentrate, Roy.

The work of a master.

Someone was a very happy girl!

We hope you and your families have a Happy Halloween!

That pumpkin looks so good! Roy did a great job!!! It is good that Caroline is pushing you two out of your "normalcy" and getting you out of the box. Don't get all old and crotchety and routine on us now. You are too young. Live life to the fullest Donna! You can do it!! In fact, next year make a Billy Graham pumpkin.

The things we do for our children!!! Your blog reminded me last night around 9:30 after the kids were in bed that we didn't carve our pumpkin last night!! Yikes!! Now that something we have to put in our afternoon as soon as they get out of school. Thanks for the reminder!

Good job, good job! Before the pumpkin carving party that I went to on Monday night, I was picking up a pumpkin and saw the Disney Princess carving kit.....and I almost bought it. Instead, I just got a regular carving kit. The little tools worked REALLY well! Better than a knife.

The pic of the kids is too cute! See y'all in just a bit. :O)

It was great seeing you and Caroline and Roy Austin on Friday! They looked so cute in their costumes!! I'm sorry I couldn't join you for lunch downstairs. The sugar cookies were delicious!! I ate it when I got home on Friday night. Do you have that recipe posted on your blog? Those were the best sugar cookies I think I've ever had!
