Today I helped give my friend, Elizabeth, a baby shower with some friends. She is having baby Luke in mid-October, so the time is dwindling down. We all had a great time getting some girl-talk in, eating and celebrating Elizabeth and little Luke!
Haley was kind enough to open up her home for the shower. Here she is putting some finishing touches on a bouquet of flowers before the guests arrive.

Once again, Jessica wowed us with her talent of cake-making. Here is her creation for LCP (Luke Chambers Poplin)! It had a little clothesline all around the cake with fondant baby clothes. That Jessica....

And here are three of the hostesses deciding what extra food they want to take home. I think they were wanting me to get the camera out of their faces, too!

When I got home, I took the kids out to dinner at a local shopping center. When we were entering the parking lot, Caroline saw this pink limo (for a local party store) and informed me that when she got big, this would be her car:
Then we turned the corner and saw the "McAlister's Deli" catering car and she got so excited and told me that this could be Roy Austin's car when he grew up!
Notice the big Iced Tea on the back side. We'd have a colorful driveway, for sure!

You girls know how to give a shower! Everything looks beautiful in the pics!
And as for the wheels - I think they'd be perfect in your driveway. Maybe you could work out some sort of discount with McAllisters - allow the vehicle in your driveway and in turn, for the advertising, they'd give you all the ice tea you want?
I love seeing pictures of all your showers because of all these adorable CAKES! It always makes me hungry too.
You should do a little slide of all the cakes you've ever had at a party. I'd bet you'd be surprised how many you've actually thrown!
I love the car choices. Will saw a half-painted blue, old pontiac today that he said he wanted...he also said tonight he wants to run a McDonald's when he grows up.
Stop it, stop it, stop it...seeing that McAlister's tea is giving me the shakes...I'm trying to quit them!

Wow! Another shower you helped with. I tell you what. You're the shower QUEEN! Looks like it was a really nice one and that JEssica is right...she's really talented. It was another beautiful cake.

I think I noticed the yummy pretzel salad on display:) and I do love some McAlister's tea. The best thing about that is you drink that huge cup then get a refill as you leave. (like I need all that caffeine and sugar, but it is good)
Donna, you are a shower giving queen. No doubt. You must have this down pat by now. You are a great friend!

Also, those vehicles are a hoot. My Aaron is obsessed with orange cars and tell us that we really need to get one!
