Maybe Uncle Leland was right when he nicknamed Caroline, "Care Bear Diva" when she was one?! We were at REI this weekend and Caroline asked if she could get a new pair of sunglasses. She went to the kids section and spotted these babies--mini Jackieos! It made my heart proud and it made us laugh! She insisted that these were the ones. Roy calls them her "Grammy Glasses". She loves them and puts them on the second we get into the car. She'll get my attention and tell me "I'm just like Mommy!". The picture above is of our diva after falling asleep in the car. It's hard being three.(Oh, and by the way, REI is having a great sale! We got Crocs for the kids for $8!)
And here she is singing her heart out in the bathtub Saturday night. She got another prize on Saturday. Target has all of their summer items on clearance and this little pool mermaid doll, named Coral, was $3. She joined Caroline's Ariel doll in the tub, where they quickly became friends:

I love when Caroline discovers that you're watching her sing and gets embarrassed. It's so cute! She is a lot like her mommy when you were that age singing to herself. Love her Jackie-O's too! I can't believe those are kids size. They are huge!

That is hilarious that they make those glasses for little girls! Donna..you better stop wearing those midriff shirts because she'll be wanting to wear those next.

She really has a fascination with The Little Mermaid huh? It's great when the get hooked on a character cause it makes it easy for people shopping for birthdays and such. Plus, it's just cute. Right now with us, it's Spiderman and Darth Vader. Not so cute.

Jennifer, REI is a sporting goods store. I don't know what it REI actually stands for but men love the store. Donny boy would love it.

She is so precious and such a sweet girly-girl. I agree with Jennifer about those Brittany Spears clothes I know you wear. You have to watch that stuff. Little eyes are watching.
