Cha-Ching!

Let me start off by saying that I have never taken any kind of drug before, but I think I know what it's like to be on a serious high. I love, Love, LOVE a good bargain! When I use coupons or find a really good deal at a store, I get so happy I can't see straight. I get a little woozy and warm feeling all over. When the final price comes up and I find out how much I saved, I can't help but smile and walk a little faster! I normally get into my car, go over my receipt (with my hands shaking from the high) and then call Roy or my fellow bargain crazed sister to tell about my deals. Today was no exception. I hit Target and Old Navy after I dropped Caroline off at school this morning. Denise told me Target had their left over Christmas toys at 75% off,but the Target I went to was a little picked over. I did manage to find this little winner for $3.75:

My nephew, Harrison Jack, got this same toy for Christmas and Caroline loved it...a few fights even broke out over it. Yes, I know it's a boy's toy, but hey, she liked it and the price was right. I was going to give it to her in the car after pre-school, but Miss Amy told me that she was in time out today so...sorry Caroline! You'll have to earn this bargain.

Next stop: Old Navy. Every year after Christmas, Old Navy ends up marking their stuff wayyyyyy down. Today I loaded up on pajamas. I love their pajamas for kids but I'm not paying $14.50 for a pair! Today I paid between $2-$4 for a pair. Here's what I managed to find:

Now, RoyBoy really hit the jackpot today. Most of the pj's are for him, since this particular Old Navy was lacking in girl sizes 2 and 3T. Look at this cute set he'll wear at approximately 6-12 months:

Cue the music because he is bad to the bone. Mommy is too, because she paid $2.48 for them. Roy Austin will also be nice and toasty next winter in this spiffy navy blue coat:

How much did it cost? Well, I'll tell you. $7.24. As I was rushing through the store, I realized I had to go pick up Caroline from school. I quickly went through the women's department and picked me up a little something. Who doesn't need a new pair of slippers now and then? These babies set me back $2.49:
My children are taking their naps now but guess what? Back in the early fall, an Old Navy opened up about 3 miles from our house! Yep, we will have to take a little ride down there to see what else we might find. Oh, and for all of you other bargain lovers out there, my friend, Hannah, let me in on a cool website she just discovered. MommySavesBig.com. This mommy loves to save big!!

Wsy to go Donna Stewart:))

Is this feeling similar to when you saved over a $100 at the Teeter??

Well done on your shopping. Old Navy pj's are the best, just as good as GAP I think.

I'm going to check out all these sales tomorrow. Although I don't need a thing. I think once you become a mommy, these kinds of sales are more exciting!

Just returned from ON (actually two of them) and TWO WORDS...PICKED OVER. They were fresh outta the lighter weight PJs in APs size except for one hohoho pair and I did find one sleeper. I didn't see any of the cute polka dot or poodle ones. I did get her some tights for next year too for 1.50. Other than that, SLIM pickins!

Went to Old Navy today! Got 3 HUGE bags for 98.00. Yep, and they were full bags, lots of stuff for the kids, not really much for me, Todd did find a few things. If I was pregnant I would have racked up though!

Good job Donna! Our Old Navy had tons and tons of stuff. As of today, they were still bringing out boxes of stuff! I went to Old Navy 3 times. I am embarrassed to say how much I spent. But like I told my love, come this Fall we will reap the rewards of my shopping!

Donna - This weekend I went to Old Navy to return something because it rang up higher than I thought it should have (when I bought it last week). She price adjusted my WHOLE receipt and said - OK, I will give you $27.50 back on your Visa. I was expecting $10 back. I had NO idea they did that!! Then I got a couple more bags of stuff for Norah too! So I basically got my last weeks purchases for the 75% sale price - and there were better pickings then too! I LOVE a bargain!!

I sooooo miss Old Navy sales. Our closest one is an hour away and it's just not the same when you have to plan a shopping to in order to do "spontaneous" shopping. It's the best feeling when you go to a store and leave with the best deals..I once found a pair of maternity jeans from Old Navy (for a friend, wasn't preggers at the time, darn it) for $1.97. Sweet! Those pjs are too cute!

Hannah, Kristie DOES have a blog. She needs to share the name, though:)
I have to go do a price adjustment at Old Navy this week. I had bought some things about a week ago that are now selling for 75% off!
