Dinner and an Obsession

Tonight our old neighbors and friends had us over for dinner at their house. They wanted to have us over before the baby comes and life gets even crazier! It was so good to see them and catch up on each others' lives. Wendy and Eric were the best neighbors---ever! We clicked right away when we moved in that neighborhood 5 years ago and we have stayed in touch ever since. They were the ones you could borrow sugar from, have them babysit on a moment's notice, and we even took Wendy to the ER once! When we go back for visits with them, it makes us miss the neighborhood and the families in it. It was so funny to hear the "neighborhood gossip", which is basically about the havoc the people who bought our house are causing and it was neat to see our children playing with each other. Here is a picture of Caroline getting ready to eat dinner with Evie and Matthew on their cool Wiggles table:

Speaking of Caroline: she now has a new obsession. LITTLE EINSTEINS! I'll admit, it is a cute show and very educational. Out of all the children's television shows out there, I would prefer her to chose this one, but she literally talks and sings about it allllllllllllll day long! It must be all she thinks about! She wakes up and asks to watch it and then sings the entire song. A big thank you to whoever invented the DVR because, God forbid, if the show isn't on, I can just click a button and -presto-- there are those four crazy kids having an adventure on their little rocket ship! We get into the car and she tells me to buckle my seat belt (an Einstein line) and then she says "blastoff". It was cute for the first few days, but I think I have a serious obsessed fan on my hands now. By dinner time, I've probably been asked at least a billion times where the Little Einsteins are and I go a little coo-coo! I saw that Target now sells Little Einstein toys, so I hope she still likes them by Christmas time!! Oh well, at least she'll be educated in classical music and artists, right? She already sings Beethoven's 5th, and some Mozart piece, thanks to June, Quincy, Annie and Leo (see, I know too much about them, too)!

I've never heard of Little Einsteins. What station is it on!?!?

Disney. It's the more mature-toddler version of Baby Einsteins. It really is a cute show.

I have seen little einsteins and they are very educational. Caroline is growing up so fast. Seems like just yesterday we had the BG grand opening and you were stolling her around!
