It's Monday

Caroline's new room is slowly getting started. On Saturday, Roy put up some moulding, so now I'm just waiting for her duvet to come in the mail so I can match up the colors and then I will paint the walls and ceiling. Caroline keeps running into the room and pointing to the walls and saying "Pink!". Yes, they will be pink, but she has no clue on what's to come! I will post pictures once this is finished. It will probably be next week, though. Sorry, faithful readers.

I accomplished her first decoration for the room today, too. I made her a monogrammed canvas wall hanging to go over her bed. I know it's not professional, but hey...it was my first attempt at working with canvas! So thank you Pottery Barn Kids for the inspiration! By the way, Hannah, that lady still has not contacted me about the prints for the nursery. What should I do???

In other random news, Roy Austin is constantly kicking and moving around, making it very uncomfortable for me. Yesterday in church, Roy and I just watched my belly as it moved all over the place. It was funny at first, but after feeling it ALL DAY LONG, it got tiring. Today is even worse. I don't know if this is a sign of things to come or what. I pray that it is not...daily!!! Last night I had a dream that I had him on September 15 (don't know why that date) and he was born as a 3-month old. Oh yeah, and he wasn't cute at all!

Well, I'm off to make an appetizer for a recipe swap I'm going to tonight. I'm making creamy, dreamy spinach, onion and bacon dip. YUM. Caroline's preschool teachers are coming by tomorrow morning to meet her and do a home visit. We made them some chocolate chip cookies today and I didn't eat one (not even any batter!!). After they leave, we are taking my car to finally get fixed from our fender bender. Our life is SO exciting!!!

Way to go on being crafty! It doesn't come naturally to me, so i'm always impressed when people can make things that you might actually pay money for. You look great btw in your "bump" picture! I can't believe your only 28 weeks, you stomach looks bigger than that, or maybe I'm just disillusioned as to how big one actually gets :) Good luck with the painting.

Just what do you have up your sleeve for Caroline's room? I can't wait to see! I'll call Anna right now for Rena's phone #.

BTW...since you mentioned the fender bender...are you still going to use your car w/ both car seats or you gonna minivan it? :)

I love the canvas you painted Donna! Beautiful! (said in Ross Rhoads voice)

I'll know who to call when I want a little canvas work done for my nursery one day!

Dolly, are you making an announcement?!

Hannah, we are going to use my car for as long as we can. We are just going to be one close family. As far as any tricks up my sleeve for C's room, it will just be pink and simple, yet girly.

Oh, Dolly. You know I didn't mean anything by that. I probably shouldn't have done all caps...that sounded angry. I was just trying to remind you so you can put that date on your calendar. I want you in that waiting room!
