Our Last Day

I have no picture updates today. My camera's battery finally bit the dust and our other camera's card will not fit into this computer, so you'll have to hold on to your seats and wait a few more days until I make it back to Charlotte to my computer! I know it's going to be hard--especially for Teecy-- but you'll make it.

The past two days have been FREEZING here! It's been in the low 50's for the high and it's been raining and overcast. Sunday we went into Anchorage for church and to do some grocery shopping. Yesterday Caroline and I literally did nothing! Roy went fishing and hiking (he can't stand to not do anything!). Today we are going to go see some bears! This place we are going to is supposed to be really cool...it's where the bears catch the salmon in all the pictures you see of Alaska, so I'll be sure to get some professional shots!

Tomorrow we head back to Charlotte. We are taking the red-eye home with Caroline and our sweet little chihuahua, Maggie! That should be fun! Roy took her to the vet this morning to get her rabies shot so they'll let her on the plane. I can't wait to meet the lucky person who gets to sit by the Graham family. By the way, Maggie had a sick spell yesterday where she threw up foam for about 2 hours. It was disgusting and I'm so glad my mother-in-law was here because I don't do well with animal vomit. I don't know why she got sick, but it doesn't help when Roy's dad feeds her peanuts just to annoy me! Let's hope she stays well for the flight home.

Oh, and congratulations to our good friends Russ and Jessica Taylor (see The Taylor Times blog below), who welcomed their baby daughter, Kathryn, yesterday afternoon! Also, my sister, Dayna, found out yesterday they are having a baby boy in November!! So, that little guy and Roy Austin will be good friends. And today is Dayna's birthday (I won't give out the age!!) and my good friend Elizabeth's birthday (again, the age will remain a secret!). So happy birthday girls! Your gifts will be delivered when I come home:)
